Bob Burkhardt’s work reflects his interest in light, atmosphere and emotion. He strives for simplicity in his composition and he feels there is always an interesting photo waiting to be taken, his challenge is to see it.

With an interest in landscapes and seascapes, much of his work is shot in the Atlanta area and in Provincetown, MA. Some of his work shot along Freedom Parkway and Piedmont Park have been enhanced using digital filters to heighten the effect on color and contrast. Recently he has been pursuing a new interest in figures and portraiture.
